The loss of a spouse alters your entire universe. You may feel numbness, astonishment, or terror. There are no rules governing how you should feel. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. K Mental Wellness would like to assure you that grieving is absolutely normal and healthy. Our psychoeducation services would like to show you how to cope healthily throughout these trying times.

  • Find a network of support
Family and compassionate friends can be invaluable sources of assistance. Because they are also grieving, some people find that talking about their memories can be therapeutic. Feel free to share your memories about the departed.
  • Grief counseling can be beneficial
In times of sadness, enlisting the assistance of bereavement counseling and mental health services in New Jersey provide you with professional advice and support. Regular talk therapy with a grieving counselor or therapist can help people accept death and, eventually, begin a new life.
  • Look after yourself
Consume nutritious foods. Participate in physical activity. Communicate with and spend time with those you care about the most. Take a break. Schedule regular physicals and talk to psychiatry services to help you grieve properly.
  • Prepare your affairs
Aside from sorting through your loved one’s personal belongings for donation or safekeeping, make sure to organize your affairs. It never hurts to be prepared. If you require it, our hospice team can assist you with advanced care planning.
