During supportive therapy, clients heal while receiving support from our therapists. Support may come in the form of praise, advice, exhortation, or encouragement. Our goal is to help our patients navigate their problems more effectively, so we let our clients vent out their thoughts and feelings so they can have a better perspective about their situation. When one is preoccupied with the thoughts and feelings of what they’re going through, response to it may not be best. So we let our clients talk and hear them out. Our mental health professionals then provide the best support for our clients.
