Here at K Mental Wellness, the first thing we do is to know how we can help you attain mental wellness. We do that by identifying your presenting and past symptoms along with your stressors and risk factors by means of a psychiatric interview and observations. The interview is conducted by one of our board-certified psychiatric providers. Family members are included in the interview as warranted. A thorough biopsychosocial assessment is also conducted. Psychometric testing may be done as warranted. Medical history is taken. The results of the in-depth psychiatric evaluation assist us in coming up with a psychiatric diagnosis.

Labs may be prescribed to rule out the medical etiology of presenting symptoms. Referrals to other specialists are made as warranted.
